Knight-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering can take any form of trained warrior. White Knight and Black Knight were the first such cards in Alpha, and while they still make up the majority of colors, red knights also make up a meaningfulk portion since. Paladins used to be a standalone crature type but they have been rolled into knights, as well as the Cavalry and Crusader subtypes. In the lore, Dominaria has many knight orders, with Alara, Belenon, and Eldraine also hosting a few, among other planes.
