Demon-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering are powerful, tough-to-control creatures that are primarily associated with black with the occasional splash of red. They offer powerful effects but they come with significant drawbacks. Flying and trample are often part of Demon-type creatures’ text. Demons played a large part in Liliana's storyline.
