Faerie-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering can be one of many different none-human spirits. They are most commonly found in blue but every color other than red has a decent selection of them. The first creature with the type was Scryb Sprites in Alpha. Eldrain and Lowryn-Shadowmoor are key planes for the Faeries.
