Pelea es el formato más similar a Comandante disponible en Magic: The Gathering Arena. Los juegos de Pelea son individuales con 1 carta de comandante (cualquier legendario o Planeswalker en MTG Arena), y 99 cartas en el mazo principal que coinciden con el color del comandante. A diferencia de otros modos, el jugador comienza con 25 vidas y un mulligan gratis.
