Leviathan-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering are giant whale-like creatures that are most commonly associated with blue. They were first introduced in The Dark expansion (but Segovian Leviathan from Legends later received an errata to get the type). They are expensive creatures with large bodies to match, with powerful effects on entering play. It is one of the rarer creature types in the game.
