Ninja-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering are typically black or blue. They have an exclusive ability in the form of ninjutsu, which is "Return an unblocked attacker you control to hand: Put this card onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking." They are associated with the plane of Kamigawa and were first introduced in the Betrayers of Kamigawa set.
