MTG Creature Type

Dragon type creatures in Magic the Gathering goes as far back as Alpha, the very first MTG set (1993), with the emblematic Shivan Dragon and Dragon Whelp. Traditionally red creatures, they've been recently more and more common in other colors, still with a high mana cost on average to work as late-game threats. Like any self-respecting fantasy game, Dragons have a capital importance in the lore of Magic the Gathering.
