Praetor-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering arethe antagonists of the old lore. They are leaders of dark forces, five unique Legendary creatures (one of earch color) that appeared across three cycles (New Phyrexia, All Will Be One, and March of the Machine). They give a global buff to the controlling player and a global debuff to the opponent. They are made as boss monsters for the horde.
