Spirit-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering encompass approximately 700 cards across the five colors. Entire MTG sets had a spirit-related theme, like Innistrad, Duskmourn, and Kamigawa's kami. "Spiritcraft," the mechanic when cards from the Kamigawa block triggered effects whenever a Spirit creature or an Arcane spell is played, is an unofficial ability name.
