MTG Creature Type

Angel-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering are white’s iconic creature type. They have been a part of the game ever since the first MTG set called Alpha (from 1993), with Serra Angel being the first card of its type in the game. Some sets feature Angels as a lore faction, like Capena or Ravnica (usually as an angelic force or feature tied to a plane), like the Church of Avacin.
