Dinosaur-type creatures in Magic: the Gathering are typically green or red in MTG. The creature type was introduced in 1995 with the Ice Age block and had a spotlight set with Ixalan. Pygmy Allosaurus was the first card with the creature type. They had a spotlight set with the first and second Ixalan.
