MTG Creature Type

Phyrexian-type creatures are one of the primary antagonists in Magic: the Gathering are completed beasts from their namesake planes (Phyrexia and New Phyrexia and other infested planes). They were created by Yawgmoth and were originally all aligned with black, which has changed in New Phyrexia. They played a key part in early Magic role but didn’t get a dedicated creature type until Kaldheim. They convert planes and people via oil to the Phyrexian horde.
